1. Import the organic asset 🥭

Drop a 3D model — .glb / .gltf / .stl GLB/GLTF keeps source colours. Colourless STL files are assigned a red moving top and blue stationary bottom automatically.

Foot trim (0%) Raise it only if you want a flat foot for the body to stand on.

2. Define the moving part ✂️

Intersection cuts combine the enabled XY Top, XZ Front, and YZ Side plane regions into one moving volume. Use one, two, or all three planes.

⚡ Fast interaction is on Drag size, orientation and cut-height controls freely. The exact printable solid rebuilds once when you release the control.

Z-depth behaviour

Extended stem keeps the current behaviour: the top receiver reaches down to the lowered switch.

3-plane intersection cuts

Switching planes preserves the other sketches. The final cut uses the common overlap of every enabled plane.

Draw

Polyline accepts any number of click points. Press Enter or Finish polyline only after the path is complete.

Magnetic edge makes drawing cling to the object's outline. Trace outline auto-selects the whole silhouette for you.

Selection regions

Every shape you draw is kept. Click a region to edit it, drag its inside to move it, or drag a pink handle to reshape it.

Choose which side of the active sketch contributes to the intersected moving volume.

Font

Raised letters stand on top of the face; engraved letters are carved 0.8 mm into it.

Curve 🌈 (0%) Bend the letters into an arch (+) or a valley (−). 0 = straight.

Text exports as its own colour region, so a slicer can recolour it.

Keychain loop 🔑

Add a keychain hole

Hole size (4.0 mm) For a keyring, split-ring, or lanyard clip.

Loop position (90°) Slide it around the edge — 90° = top, 0° = right, 270° = bottom.

Loop height (0%) Raise it to hang the loop off the side of the base at any angle.

Magnet 🧲

Add a magnet pocket

Add a pocket in the underside of the base for a disc magnet.

Magnet size Ø (8 mm)

Magnet thickness (3.0 mm) 6×2 and 8×3 neodymium discs are the classics. Clearance for glue is added automatically; the pocket hides under the base.

Ring channel 💍

Carve a channel for a real ring

Add a channel to the base for a real metal ring.

Ring size Ø (16 mm)

Wire thickness (2.0 mm)

Position (90°) Slide it around the edge — 90° = top, 0° = right, 270° = bottom.

Sink into the body (5.0 mm) How deep the ring bites in. It must pass all the way through the edge to hook on.

Stand the ring upright

Snap a real split ring in after printing — the see-through guide never prints.

Add a lanyard slot

Add a wide flat slot through the rim for a strap or cord.

Slot position (270°) Slide it around the edge — 90° = top, 0° = right, 270° = bottom.

Add a badge-pin back

Add two shallow pockets in the base underside for a standard pin.

Add a stand foot

A small foot fused to the rim, widening the base so it balances steadier when displayed leaning at an angle.

Animate Assembly

Lifts the two printed parts apart so you can see how they fit.

Cross Section View

Slices the model open so you can see the switch pocket and the click mechanism inside. Preview only.

Print colours

Repaints the preview with the colours your exported file actually carries.

Advanced Switch fit, maker's mark, centring

Switch fit

Plate Cutout (14.0 mm) Set the square hole the switch clips into. 14 mm is the universal MX fit.

Switch Cavity (7.2 mm) Pocket depth under the switch plate (7.0+ fits any MX switch). Deeper also makes the whole base taller.

Wall Thickness (2.5 mm) Perimeter wall around the button. Thicker = sturdier, slightly smaller inside room for the switch.

Guide clearance (0.60 mm) Set the sliding gap between the two printed parts. 0.70 suits most printers.

Press travel room (4.0 mm) Set the press travel before the two guide shells would touch.

MX-cross socket fine-tune (0.00 mm) Raise it if the cap grips too hard, lower it if the cap is loose.

Maker's mark 🏷️

Sign the inside of the base

Raised lettering on the floor of the switch pocket — your signature on every print, invisible from outside.
